My sculptural books class of eight participants ranged in age from 20 to over 60. Many had textile backgrounds but were new to the art of the book. Luckily, they all came to the Forum with an inventive spirit, and within the first hour of class they were busy cutting and folding paper into a range of pop-up structures: boxes and triangles, hearts and hands, and characters with moving pop-up mouths.

Jo Canham, VIC
In 2005, Jo Canham and her husband, Dean, opened a secondhand book shop in the historic town of Port Fairy, VIC. After four years, Jo found herself with hundreds of vintage titles that she knew wouldn’t be moving very quickly out the door. Jo’s interest in artist books was piqued
